I guess that people just have a not so good idea about holiness because contrary to popular belief, this topic is really real and when you get to learn more about it, you will learn to appreciate it. I have friends who are really trying their best to be as holy as they can because they feel that they are being called to a greater life and to be really holy. These holy friends are really striving to become loving and they want to serve others too. There are things that most people would not be wanting to do, but these friends of mine are really praying a lot and they want to do things that are heroic. I have been able to enter a monastery before and I can really say that being holy is not really about what you do but it’s more about what God does in your life. God makes us holy because of his very action in our lives. The subject of being holy is talked about by many books and I have read some of them. Because of these books and others, I am able to understand more about myself and about other people. I am more patient with others and with myself. I know holy people struggle too so I understand if others have difficulties in their journey towards a holy life. But I know that if we only trust God, we can be successful. You can always do your research at home about people who have really become more loving and holy. I know that if you only are genuinely striving to be holy, you will be able to learn more and possibly be truly holy while here on earth.

One common problem runs in our family, which is obesity, so when I was in my teens my mom made sure that all of us her children will get the proper nutrition needed and she as well encouraged us to be physically active. A month ago when I got promoted as a Senior Web Programmer and things got out of hand, where I started to take carbohydrates and fatty foods a lot and never had left my computer to exercise and run. For the first week, my routine was getting unhealthy, until it became a cycle and on the second week, I noticed that my pants are getting tighter. I took things for granted, until on the 3rd week, I felt pain on my lower back, and that is when I weighed myself and found out that I weighed15 pounds more. Since I have to keep this job that practically pays me a lot, and make sure too that I stay healthy too, I decided to call my brother about the situation I have. Qualifying and clearly defining the type of love that is as enduring as teak furniture must be our next question, if not, problem, Saint Paul, a follower of Christ puts it bluntly and into writing which is found in chapter thirteen, in his first letter to the Corinthians. He says in that chapter that the meaning and substance of love is not fleeting or momentary, the love that does not choose; love, as described in what they call the love chapter of, most probably, the entire Holy Book, is not boastful, does not disappoint, it patiently waits, it is described to be something that is always full of hope, protection and trust: the love of this kind is considered to be the greatest kind of love for all eternity, and in addition, we can define love that is true to be something that does not seek the glory and praise for oneself, but it rejoices when others are glorified and one is humbled and through the humbling of oneself, all the more will he or she feel loved by others.
